Not if what you’re adding is pay-per-view for creators. Integrate the 2fans API and creators sell through 2fans links, on a checkout already set up for 18+ content, with no contract of your own. If you sell your own products on your own checkout, you do need one.
Which one you need
| Your use case | What you need | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Creators in your CRM selling PPV, drops or subscriptions, with the content hosted on 2fans | The 2fans API, and no contract of your own | Today, once the ID check and content are approved. Connecting other people's creators also takes an app review, usually a few business days |
| Your own products on your own checkout | Your own contract with an adult biller such as CCBill, Segpay or Verotel | They advertise days or weeks. In our experience, 6 to 12 months |
| Other businesses' products, physical goods or gambling | Something other than 2fans |
What you accept in return
- Buyers pay on the 2fans checkout, not on your domain.
- Content has to be hosted on 2fans and pass moderation.
- The fee is 15% of each sale, and an approved app earns 5% of that back on sales through its links.
If you want your own contract later
Starting here lets you build real sales numbers first. See No processing history? Sell first, apply later.
What to avoid
Don't run your own products through anyone else's account, ours included. It's called factoring, and it can freeze your funds and get you blacklisted. 2fans only sells content hosted on 2fans, from creators who passed the ID check.
Common questions
Do I need a merchant account to add PPV to my CRM?
Not if creators are selling content hosted on 2fans. Integrate the 2fans API and they sell through 2fans links. Your own products on your own checkout still need your own contract.
How long does it take compared with getting my own contract?
You can be selling today once the ID check and content are approved, and connecting other people’s creators takes an app review of a few business days. In our experience your own contract takes 6 to 12 months.
Can I use 2fans to take payments for my own products?
No. 2fans only sells content hosted on 2fans, from verified creators, on the 2fans checkout.
