# Paid subscriptions for Telegram

Send a 2fans subscribe link in Telegram. The fan subscribes on the 2fans web checkout, and signed webhooks tell your CRM or bot when someone starts, renews, cancels or runs out.

## The link

`https://www.dropfans.io/u/{username}?subscribe=1`

`GET /links` returns it for each creator. Subscriptions run weekly or monthly.

## Following subscribers

Webhooks need an [approved app](https://2fans.dev/docs/build/connect-creators.md).

| --- | --- |
| `subscription.paid` | A first charge, a renewal, or a free trial starting. It names the subscriber, including `telegramUserId` when there is one |
| `subscription.canceled` | Renewal is turned off; access continues until `accessUntil` |
| `subscription.ended` | Access ends |

## Private Telegram channels

The subscription is to the creator on 2fans. If you also give subscribers a private channel, your bot runs that part: add them on `subscription.paid` and remove them on `subscription.ended`.

## Commission

A subscription started through an approved app's links earns the app 5%, including every renewal, paid out of our fee.

| **Content** | Photos, video, audio, PDFs and other digital media, including 18+ content and declared AI-generated content. |
| **Creator checks** | Creators verify with an ID document, face match and liveness check. Uploads need an approved check. |
| **App access** | For software other people’s creators connect to. A person reviews each application, usually within a few business days. 300 requests a minute and 50,000 a day, per key. |

2fans was called Dropfans until October 2026, so the API host is still www.dropfans.io and keys still start with dpfn_.
